About Us

At Lisa Frantz Interiors, we create down-to-earth, effortless designs that are refined, livable, and timeless. We believe great design should feel natural and inviting, not complicated. That’s why we bring clients a turnkey interior design experience that’s fluid, personal, and hassle-free—whether in New York, Chicago, Connecticut, New Jersey, Aspen, Houston, Scottsdale, or Nantucket.

Lisa stays closely involved in every project, supported by a talented team that makes the process seamless from start to finish. With her personal touch, accountability, and trusted industry connections, clients enjoy a smooth experience without the stress of managing the details.

Beyond homes, we love creating transformative experiences in hospitality. From hotels and bars to restaurants and apartment lobbies throughout the tri-state area, our commercial projects are designed to feel both cutting-edge and memorable.

And because giving back matters to us, we’re proud sponsors of charitable events tied to the design industry throughout the year.

Our mix of chemistry, experience, and clarity has led to award-winning residential and hospitality spaces, featured in Elle Décor, Traditional Home, Luxe Magazine, and Architectural Digest.

Meet Lisa

I grew up in Houston and moved to New York City right after college, chasing a dream of working in magazines. After four years as a beauty editor, I realized print journalism wasn’t my true calling. What I loved most were the photo shoots, telling visual stories and shaping the atmosphere. That love carried me into set design for commercials and editorial shoots, and eventually into designing homes for directors, producers, and actors. By 2009, I had fully embraced interior design, and I haven’t looked back since.

Today, our firm is sought after by leading home furnishings manufacturers to create new products, forecast trends, and influence style. This recognition not only pushes our creative work forward but also gives our clients unique opportunities for publicity and editorial features to showcase their homes.

When I’m not designing interiors or collaborating with inspiring clients, you can usually find me on the tennis court or working on my own ongoing project: a Brooklyn brownstone I share with Georges, Loulou, Beatrice, and Oscar.
